My name is McLane Crane.  I am no stranger to the pirate traditions.  I attended Heath Elementary School many moons ago.  I then continued on to Heath Middle and was a third-generation graduate from Heath High School.  After high school, I attended Campbellsville University where I played for the University’s golf team.  Go Tigers!  I graduated from C.U. in 2013 and returned back home to Paducah.  Eight years ago I was hired at H.E.S. to teach reading and provide R.T.I. services.  I was very fortunate to be blessed with that experience, I learned something every day and I truly believe that it made me a better teacher. Since then I have taught both fourth and second grade.  I have a Master’s degree in Teacher Leadership from the University of the Cumberlands.  I am beyond excited to be continuing my teaching career at the school I call home.

     I married my husband, Alex in 2015.  We have a son, Grayson who joined our family in 2018.  We have two miniature dachshunds, Barkley and Dixie.  Some of my favorite things to do are play golf, ride bikes, read, needlepoint, and crochet.  I love Diet Coke and good country music.  I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child this school year!
